Avengers Endgame writer in Buffalo, Friday May 3rd

Meet the man who knows all the secrets of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!  On Friday, May 3rd the North Park Theatre is thrilled to host one of the most successful screenwriters in Hollywood — North Buffalo native Christopher Markus — for a LIVE, in-person, once-in-a-lifetime Q&A!  Along with his writing partner Stephen McFeely, Chris wrote all of the Captain America films and AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, one of the biggest box office successes of all time.  His latest, AVENGERS: ENDGAME, marks a cap to over a decade’s worth of interconnected superhero stories — easily one of the most ambitious projects in screenwriting history.  He is also an Emmy winner, screenwriter of the recent Narnia films, and creator of the dearly missed AGENT CARTER TV series. In his youth, Chris attended Nardin Academy and St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. He has many fond memories of the North Park, including his first experience seeing a movie by himself as a young film lover.  We invite you to join us in giving this NP alum a warm Buffalo homecoming, and to freely pick his brain about the MCU, screenwriting, or anything you ever wanted to know about inside Hollywood baseball. With the release of ENDGAME, he’s going to have A LOT to talk about!   Tickets are at the normal $10.50 price point.  Chris’s intro starts at 8pm and will be followed by a screening of AVENGERS: ENDGAME.  Commemorative posters will be available at the stand.
